OSI offers a competitive compensation package and attractive benefits plan for eligible employees. Overland Solutions, Inc. (OSI) provides eligible employees with basic benefits at no cost to you. These benefits are intended to offer financial protection for you and your family.
Benefits provided at no cost
> Basic Life Insurance -
Group Term Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance equal to the lesser of 50% of your basic annual earnings or $50,000. A beneficiary, who you can designate by completing a Beneficiary Designation Form, will receive benefits in the event of a claim. Full-time employees become participants in this benefit plan on the first day of the month following one full calendar month of service.
> Short-Term Disability (STD) Coverage -
Once approved for STD benefits, eligible employees will receive 100% of their basic weekly earnings for the first week of disability, and 70% of their basic weekly earnings thereafter for up to an additional 12 weeks (13 week maximum benefit duration).
> Tuition Reimbursement -
OSI recognizes the value of higher education. Therefore, tuition reimbursement is offered to eligible employees after one year of service. The plan offers repayment for educational expenses (tuition and books) up to $4,000 in a 12-month period.
> Direct Deposit -
OSI offers automatic bank deposits of paychecks (electronic fund transfer) at no charge. Automatic deposit eliminates a trip to the bank every payday to deposit your paycheck.
> Vacation Days & Paid Holidays
Optional Benefits> Medical Coverage -
Our medical plan is offered by BlueCross BlueShield of Kansas City and benefits are payable for services received from in-network and non-network providers. This plan does include prescription drugs.
> Dental Coverage -
In an effort to provide you with the most competitive plan, Overland Solutions, Inc. offers dental coverage through Delta Dental of Kansas. You may see any dentist you wish for your care.
> Long-term disability -
Employees have the option to purchase long-term disability coverage, which provides benefits following 90 days of disability.
> 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan -
This benefit is offered to all eligible employees who have completed 90 days of service and are 21 years of age or older. Our Retirement Savings plan offers a wide variety of investment options, access to professional investment advisors, and loan provisions.
> Supplemental Life Insurance -
This benefit allows an eligible employee to purchase 1, 2, 3, or 4 times base annual earnings with a maximum not to exceed $400,000. OSI also offers Spouse and Child Supplemental Life Insurance.
> Health Care Spending Account/Dependent Care Spending Account -
An eligible employee may deposit up to $4,000 annually in his or her health care spending account and $5,000 in a dependent care spending account on a pre-tax basis.
